Hi, my name is Monia Stratman, I was born in Haiti and came here in my tween years. I grew up in Essex County and have experienced many different neighborhoods in this great community. After graduating from Montclair State University, I worked as a math teacher for several years where I fell in love with my students and teaching in general. After I married my amazing husband and gave birth to my beautiful daughter, we moved to Union county. Even though I love where I live, I often find myself gravitating to different activities in Essex County. My church, my favorite restaurants, my favorite park, places I volunteer, and many other favorites are all located in Essex County. I am knowledgeable and passionate about this community.
I love what I do! I get to help people figure out how to love where they live so they can focus on living.
